Compressed Himalayan Salt Animal Licks

Compressed Himalayan Rock Salt Animal Licks are crafted from 100% natural and unrefined Himalayan salt, containing 84 essential minerals and trace elements vital for livestock at all life stages. These salt licks are a convenient and ideal source of nutrients for animals such as horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, and deer. With a natural affinity for salt, these licks ensure animals receive their regular salt requirements along with other necessary minerals, promoting healthy growth. Available in multiple sizes: 5.5 lbs., 11 lbs., and 22 lbs. (can also be custom ordered).

How Are They Made?

We specially select premium Himalayan salt powder and compress it into block shapes with curved edges and a smooth surface using extremely high pressure. This process ensures the blocks hold together without any binding agents. Each block features a hole in the middle for easy mounting on a pole or hanging in a stall with a rope.

Difference from Natural Cut Salt Licks

The composition of minerals in Himalayan salt mines varies by extraction point. Higher points in the mine yield lighter, low-mineral salt, while ground-level salt is dark pink or red, indicating higher mineral content. Natural salt rocks result in uneven mineral consumption, as animals may receive varying mineral levels. Our compression process ensures even distribution of minerals and iron content throughout each block, providing consistent nutrition that natural salt licks cannot guarantee.
